Panama sluit zich aan bij de Stienen Familie

Stienen blijft groeien - met beide benen op de grond én met een blik naar de toekomst. Sinds kort hebben we een nieuwe service collega in Panama: José Medina. Hij staat klaar om service te verlenen waar mogelijk in regio Panama, met een focus op de pluimveesector. Hij is het nieuwe vaste aanspreekpunt dat onze klanten in de regio persoonlijk ondersteunt. Zo bouwen we verder aan wereldwijde service, met dezelfde betrokkenheid als altijd.

 

Kun je jezelf kort introduceren?

My name is José Medina and I’m originally from Panama. I’m 27 years old, and I’m passionate about electromechanical engineering and the automation field. I’m excited to contribute my skills while also learning and growing in these areas.

Hoe zou je jezelf beschrijven in een paar woorden?

I would describe myself as a passionate and driven engineer with a strong interest in both mechanical and electrical systems. I enjoy problem-solving and continuously improving my technical skills. I’m also adapting to life in the Netherlands, which has been an exciting experience.

Wat is je rol en expertise bij Stienen, in Panama?

My role as a Service Engineer is to fulfill all the requirements of clients who want to improve their production to the highest level. I provide opportunities to increase reliability, efficiency, and improve processes, particularly in the field of poultry farming.

Waar haal je het meeste plezier uit in je werk?

I enjoy the challenge of integrating electrical and mechanical systems to create innovative solutions. It’s satisfying to see how different components work together to solve real-world problems, and the continuous evolution of technology in this field keeps me motivated.

Waarom heb je gekozen om te werken voor Stienen?

I was drawn to Stienen because of the company’s reputation for innovation and high-quality engineering solutions. The opportunity to work with such a talented team and contribute to cutting-edge projects was very appealing to me. Additionally, I’m excited to work in a company that values both technical expertise and collaboration.

Hoe ziet een perfecte vrije dag eruit voor jou?

A perfect day off for me would involve spending time exploring the local culture, trying new foods, and perhaps taking a trip to nature to unwind. I also enjoy going to the gym and playing football.

Je hebt een intensieve training gedaan op kantoor bij Stienen, in Nederweert (Nederland). Je bent hier voor een week verbleven. Wat heeft jou het meeste verrast tijdens je bezoek hier?

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how organized and efficient everything is here in the Netherlands. The transportation system is fantastic, and I’ve really enjoyed the local food and the easy access to beautiful nature. The work culture is also very collaborative, which has been refreshing and motivating for me as I settle into my role. I’m also very happy with my service team because they gave me a warm welcome and have been very kind to me.
